This village, for close on a month now, has been effectively lit by the Revival fire -"not some flash of the divine flame, but it appears that the true and living Spirit" has taken hold of the people in general, from the greatest to the least. Previously, I say in all seriousness, the place was in real need of conversion like many other places in Anglesey and Wales. Promising young men were giving the best part of their lives to ridiculing and scorning those who prayed and God's cause, with dreadful oaths. This was the experience of every one who has repented. But these days, I can joyfully inform you, they have grasped the great order of salvation, and like Saul of Tarsus are crying what to do for His holy name. Oh, this is a pleasant place. Men and women as it were competing for the Throne of Grace, and what to me are clear and sincere proofs that the still, small voice has been sent to this blessed area "from above." Since the time I noted, over thirty have given themselves up to the Saviour, and of that number twelve have been received as full members at Carmel (A.)

Mae y pentref hwn er's yn agos i fis bellach yn cyneu yn effeithiol gan dan y Diwygiad—" nid rhyw fflachiad o'r fflam ddwyfol, ond ymddengys fod gwir Ysbryd y peth byw" wedi gafaelyd yn y bobl yn gyffredinol, o'r mwyaf hyd y lleiaf. Yn flaenorol, gyda difrifoldeb y dywedaf, yr oedd y lie mewn gwir angen am droedigaeth fel llawer man eto yn Mon a Chymru. Dynion ieuainc addawol yn rhoddi goreu eu hoes i wawdio a dirmygu gweddiwyr ac achos Daw, a'u rhegfeydd yn ofnadwy. Dyma brofiad pob un sydd wedi edifarhau. Ond y dyddiau hyn, gyda llawenydd yr hysbysaf, y maent wedi cael gafael yn nhrefn fawr yr iachawdwriaeth, O, y mae yma le dymunol. Dynion i merched yn ymryson megis am Orsedd Gras, a phrofion eglur a diffuant i mi mai y lief ddistaw, fain, sydd wedi eu hanfon i r ylch bendigedig yma "oddi uchod." Er yr amser a nodwyd, y mae dros ddeg ar hugain wedi rhoddi eu hunain i fynu i'r Gwaredwr, ac o'r cyfrif yna mae deuddeg wedi eu derbyn yn gyflawn aelodau Yn Ngharmel (A.)
