The fire of the religious revival has reached us on the shores of the Atlantic. We have held united prayer meetings with the Independents from Little Haven every day for the last six weeks. We have had blessed times in these meetings, and they have been well attended, day after day. A large number came during this time, considering the how small is the population in this area. 26 were added to our church, six of whom were returning from the country of backsliding. On Sunday morning, Feb 26th, 18 were baptised the Rev. M. B. Owen, BA, Carmarthen, in the river near our place of worship, and two are still waiting. 8 were added to the Congregational church under the influence of these meetings. A new spirit has awoken in us in this area for the work of our Saviour through the power of the mighty influences that are following this wonderful revival.
