—I rejoice to inform you that the Lord has visited us in mercy. We have had, within these few days past, a number of very striking cases of what I verily believe to be real conversion. Many are awakened, apparently, to a true sense of their lost and ruined condition by nature, and of their need of personal salvation, through faith, in the great Sacrifice of Atonement; and many more are anxious inquirers after the Crucified One, for which we would give special thanks to God for his free and sovereign grace.
