Very encouraging accounts were given of the movement at Slateford, Hermiston, Ratho, Corstorphine, Stockbridge, Water of Leith, and of the meetings in St. Paul's Church, and in Thistle Street, Edinburgh. Ratho had evidently been favoured with a greater outpouring of the Spirit than any other place roundabout, with the exception of Newhaven.
