On the next evening the same dear brothers (Reginald Radcliffe) addressed upwards of eight hundred persons in the parish church at Acton, a manifest blessing attended the "after service." On this occasion many found Jesus while singing the hymns circulated among the people before the service began: the two seemingly most acknowledged were, Come to Jesus, just now," and, "There is a fountain filled with blood," with the chorus, "I do believe, I will believe." The Rector, to avoid giving offence to dear brothers of the Church of England, had a small platform extemporised for the occasion, from which the various speakers addressed the people.
