In the Free Territorial Church, Dumfries and in some of the villages and congregations in the neighbourhood of Dumfries, there is a real and quiet and remarkable work of the gathering of souls to Christ going on. The attendance at meetings for prayer, exposition and preaching of the Word, is large, often crowded. The committee are cognisant of many places where there is every reason to believe that a number of souls have been brought to the Saviour, where an outside onlooker might think that there is little fruit from the means used.
