One preacher who came into prominence after the association was Dafydd Rolant, and his itinerant ministry in the following months resulted in revival in a number of places in Merioneth.
His ministry was the means of the conversion of multitudes in Cwmprysor, Trawsfynydd, Cwm-yr-Allt-lwyd, and the valleys of Llanfachreth. A very powerful revival broke out chiefly through him in these valleys. Before this there were only a very few religious people, but in a short time, many scores if not hundreds became religious.
