The Methodist remarks that "this circuit has been blessed with a general revival of the work of God. The Rev R. Jones (a) gave a week of preaching in every place within his circuit in succession, following a week of prayer in each place. During the day he visited from house to house and the result was proved at the last quarterly meeting to be the addition of above one hundred members on trial, besides materially building up the congregations both in the mining and the rural parts of the circuit."
