Mr J. M. Scroggie's three weeks' course of services here was brought to a close last Lord's day evening, and we may say that the meetings always got better and better, the last being the best of all. The Christian Union with grateful hearts acknowledged the Lord's goodness to them in sending his servant here, and in so abundantly and beyond all expectation blessing his labours. They also thank kind friends who were remembering the meeting at the throne of grace. A crowded praise meeting, filled mostly with those who have just entered the Christian course, was held last night when many embraced the opportunity of testifying that they were on the Lord's side. Meetings are still being carried on, and prayer is asked that the
Lord's blessing may continue to fall upon us.
