Mr T. E. Cleworth, of the Evangelisation Society held meetings in Brixham, South Devon. Not only were many convicted of sin and brought to the Saviour through Mr Cleworth's instrumentality but Christians were refreshed and built up. Many learnt for the first time the full extent of their privileges. Such large numbers looked to the meetings that the place where they were held was too narrow and a larger one had to be secured, which was soon also densely crowded.
