Augher (1767)

Such was the generally favourable impression made by the labours of John Smith at Augher, that when Mr Wesley visited. the town in April, and preached in the castle-yard—the use of which was doubtless obtained by Mr Moore—the congregations were both " large and deeply serious."

Additional Information

Location unnkown. Although there is not too much information on what happened in Augher and the surrounding district, a later report says that there was a great need for ministers at the Augher circuit because of the success there. John Smith seems to have taken revival to most of the places he went.
