Sennen (1832)

John Wesley preached in Sennen in 1743, mainly to grey-haired old men.

Revival came in 1832. The circuit minister records, 'On Monday, March 12th, the work broke out in a very gracious manner at Sennen. The chapel was crowded to excess, and the meeting lasted until near eleven o'clock. Many were in distress; a few found peace; and they returned to the chapel the next morning, when one sinner, of more than seventy, found peace. In Sennen, a small place, more than twenty souls were saved that night'

Additional Information
