"Sun. May 11. — We had a glorious sight at Thorner: — hundreds of precious souls hearing the word. The chapel would not have contained, I believe, half the people; and as the day was showery, I preached in a spacious room in the malt-kiln. We then adjourned to the chapel and had a Love-feast. About four hundred were present. A blessed season it was. Many who have lately been brought to God spoke very satisfactorily, and some old disciples testified, 'Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.”
