The final mission of the series took place in the First Church of Carrickfergus which was the oldest Presbyterian congregation in Ireland. It was held in March under the auspice of the local branch of the Christian Workers Union. Here too there was a time of reaping when large numbers of men, women and young people said, "I will," in response to the invitation of the evangelist. In the following August, the Kirk session had the joy of receiving thirty-six new members into the church. Some of the older people said they had known nothing like it since the days of D. L. Moody.
