Cairnbulg (1868)

One after meeting at Cairnbulg there were from 30 to 40 young men and women all broken by the power of God's Spirit, crying to God to save them no tongue could describe it.

The Revival Newspaper, 20/2/1868

'During the last two or three weeks, Cairnbulg has been visited by the most extensive and influential religious awakening by which it has ever been blessed in all its former history. The people here as by mutual consent, given up thought of everything else but the salvation of their souls. The common house of meeting, which is capable of containing upwards of 400, has been quite insufficient for the crowds that are thronging to it thirsting for the word of life.'
