Birchin Wesleyan Chapel - Ann Cutler (1794)

From a letter dated December 8th 1794 from Derby, she writes,

'I have been above a fortnight at Manchester. Some were justified and some justified every night. Some nights eight and nine, some twelve, some twenty, one thirty and one night near forty, found peace with God.'

From, 'A short account of the life and death of Ann Cutler,' by William Bramwell.

Additional Information

The Chapel was where marked or on the other side of the square. It was built in 1750 and closed in 1833.

Ann Cutler would probably have ministered there. It was at the time of the Great Yorkshire Revival, which she helped begin through her amazing intercession.
